Virginia M. Bellando, age 86, of Ewing, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong resident of Ewing Township. Virginia was employed by the NJ Department of Law & Public Safety, Motor Vehicle Division, for 37 years, retiring March 1990 as a supervisor.
Virginia was predeceased by her parents Andrew & Bertha Bellando, and brother Andrew Bellando, Jr., grandparents Baptista & Virginia Bellando and George & Elizabeth Reed, and a special cousin, Betty June Alton, all of Ewing.
She enjoyed traveling, dancing, music of the big band era, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. She also enjoyed bowling with friends at Slocum’s in Ewing.
She is survived by her nieces, Gina Bellando and her companion, Glen Jones, and Lisa Bellando and her husband, Mark Alt.
Private funeral services are Friday, February 7 at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township. Burial will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
