Steven F Korostoff, of Hamilton, New Jersey, passed away at the age of 66 on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 after a tireless battle with early-onset dementia.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie, his children, Melissa Sandler, Matthew Korostoff and wife Stephanie Chao, Jenny Araujo and husband Mick Araujo, Sarah Mariano and husband Matt Mariano, and his grandchildren Eviana Sandler, Myles Sandler, and Samantha Araujo.

Steven was born on November 18, 1955 in Brooklyn, New York. Steven graduated Sheepshead Bay High School in 1973 and went on to attend SUNY Stonybrook for his undergraduate degree, where he met his wife, Stephanie. During this time, he was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s most prestigious honor society, for his academic excellence. He went on to receive his Juris Doctorate from The University of Pennsylvania Law School. Steven began his legal career at the Department of Energy in Washington DC and then went on to The Securities and Exchange Commission before transferring to the New York Stock Exchange/FINRA, where he remained until his retirement in 2015.

Steven is predeceased by his parents Morris and Celia Korostoff, as well as his sister, Susan Korostoff.

Funeral services and burial are 12:30 PM on Thursday, March 10 at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Avenue, Hamilton, NJ.
