TORONTO, Ontario, Canada… Rose Caldwell Schwarz, 91, passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018.
Born in Czechoslovakia, Mrs. Schwarz and her late sister were Holocaust survivors of Bergen-Belsen and Auschwitz concentration camps. Before moving to Toronto, she was a former resident of Mercerville, New Jersey.
Sister of the late Helen Esko, mother of the late Edward Caldwell and wife of the late Joseph Caldwell and Moshe Schwarz. She is survived by a son and daughter, David and Marsha Caldwell, two grandchildren, Daniel (Marilia) Caldwell and Marissa ( John) Erickson, five great grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Sebastian, Samuel and Oliver, and nephew, Irven Esko.
Funeral services are Tuesday 11am, December 18, at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township. Burial will follow at Congregation Brothers of Israel Cemetery, Cedar Lane, Hamilton Township. The period of mourning will be observed at the Caldwell residence in Bordentown, NJ.
