Robert Harold Husak of Pennington passed away on Friday, September 30, 2022 at the age of 91.
Born in Brooklyn, Robert was a left-handed pitcher for the minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers. He went on to a career as an insurance salesman and eventually owned his own company. He was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War.
Robert married Patricia and they shared 55 years together until her death.
He is survived by his daughter Malenie (Mike) Piscetelli, his son Steven (Laura) Husak, three grandchildren: Krystle (Corey) Brenman, Nathalie Dionne and Jeremy Dionne, four step-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law Stephanie (Patrick) McIntyre, 2 granddaughters Jacklynn (River) Husak and Rachel Husak, and one great-granddaughter Leia Brenman.
Robert is also survived by his wonderful, long-time companion Gail Ruderman and her three children, 6 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are Thursday, October 6 at 1:00 pm at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, NJ.

Bob was a wonderful, warm human being. He was always kind and gracious to us. We will miss him. Our thoughts are with the family.
