Rhoda Bloom, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away surrounded by her family on June 17, 2021, at the age of 84.
Rhoda was born January 8, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY to Dave and Mollie Prusak.
She attended Jefferson High School in Brooklyn and was blessed with a beautiful, operatic voice that almost got her to Juilliard. She had a long rewarding career as a businesswoman.
Rhoda was married to Jerry Bloom for 58 years before his passing in 2014. She is survived by her daughter, Renee, son Michael and daughter in law Yvonne, grandson Derek, sister Barbara, and her wonderful nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Funeral services and burial will be 11:00 am on Monday, June 21 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 189 Gill Lane, Iselin, NJ.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rhoda at the Hamilton twp YMCA. We used to go to lunch together with another friend Kathy. She was such an inspiration to me. A kind and gentle women. May she rest in peace with her husband Jerry. So very sorry to all for your loss.
