MIDDLETOWN, NJ…. Philip Savage, 93, passed away on February 9, 2020.
Born in Newark, Mr. Savage was a former resident of North Arlington.
He was a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology and was the proprietor of Savage Hardware in Kearny before retiring.
He proudly served in the US Navy and the Korean War.
He was an avid golfer and always enjoyed spending time with his family.
Husband of the late Charlotte Savage, he is survived by two sons, Paul Savage (Debra) and Scott Savage (Marlyn), and daughter Susan Gallagher (Kevin), nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services and burial are Tuesday (February 11) at 11 am at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
Phil was a wonderful man. We feel a great loss. May his memory be a blessing for his family and all who knew him.
