Marilyn Weinstein, 94, died peacefully on December 28th, 2021, of natural causes at Oxford Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Langhorne Pennsylvania.

During her life, she was a homemaker, a caretaker for her aging parents, a secretary for the Rabbi at Brothers of Israel Congregation (formerly located in Trenton, New Jersey), and a volunteer for many years at the Greenwood Home for the Aged in Ewing, New Jersey.

Her primary occupation was working beside her husband, Irwin Weinstein at Weinstein’s Delicatessen, a long-time, fondly remembered Trenton institution that was a center of local Jewish activity. Working as cook, bottlewasher, bookkeeper, catering manager and counter person, she extended herself in every way to serve the community.

She was predeceased by her parents, Isidore and Bertha Alter, her beloved husband Irwin and her brothers Harold and Edward Alter.  She is survived by her children, Harold (Karin Kasdin) and Carol Weinstein (Lawrence Dunsker), grandchildren, Daniel (Kristen), Andrew (Carole Connors), Zack, and great grandchildren, Kyla, Jace, Lily and Cameron.  Funeral services and Shiva will be private.
