Jane Felder, formerly of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2023, in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.

Jane was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts and grew up in New Haven, Connecticut.  She is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.  During her time in Boston, she met her beloved husband of 49 years, William (Bill).  The young couple moved to Toronto, Canada before settling in Lawrenceville in 1973.

Jane was a loving wife and mother as well as an outspoken community and PTA member. She decided to continue her studies and received an MBA from Rider University.  She studied computer software design and eventually formed her own consulting company, JMF Consultants. She continued this successful venture until retirement.

Jane had a zest for travel. She and Bill visited all corners of the world and loved exploring new places and learning about other cultures. She was always active, whether it was ballroom dancing, Zumba, yoga, sewing, knitting, or walking with friends.  She was a keen canasta and bridge player as well and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Jane is survived by her sons, Alan and Michael, their wives, Mara and Karon, and her four granddaughters, Samantha, Emily, Simi and Sohana. Her brother and sister-in-law Paul and Debbie Mendelson, cousins Nancy and Neil Lewis, as well as nephews, nieces, and extended family who where a major part of her life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William and her parents Ted and Ruth Mendelson.

A celebration of Jane’s life will be held on Monday, January 15 at 1:00 pm at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ. Interment was private.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution in Jane’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, Trustbridge Hospice Foundation (5300 East Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL, 33407) or a charity of your choice.
