Gerald (Jerry) Miller passed away on April 29, 2021 following an extended illness.
Born in Trenton, NJ on April 4, 1939, he was a graduate of Trenton High School (’56) and Lafayette College (’60). His career in human resources extended more than 30 years and included roles in both the public and private sector.
Along with his beloved wife, Roberta, he enjoyed classical music concerts and traveling – which often included classical music venues. He was an avid classical music collector and audiophile as well as an avid golfer.
Predeceased by his parents, Fannie K. and Morris A. Miller, Jerry is survived by his wife Roberta (nee Somerstein); his sister Karen Norton; his son Michael (Jen); daughter Jennifer Rose (Frank), grandchildren Frankie, Carly and Emily Rose and Eliana and Madalyn Duffy. Jerry is also survived by his step children Andrea Duffy and Todd Duffy (Sue), his brother-in-law Dr. Michael Somerstein and his sister-in-law Ellen Somerstein as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and burial are 1:00pm Monday, May 3 at the Adath Israel Congregation section of Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, 545 Eggert Crossing Road, Ewing Township, New Jersey. To attend the service virtually via livestream see the link at the top of this page.
