Edward Leavitt, 89, passed away Saturday March 30, 2019.
Born in Brooklyn, he was a former resident of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Yardley, PA. Mr. Leavitt was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He returned home from the war to establish a successful automobile dealership, Autobahn Motors in Lawrenceville, NJ before retiring. During his retirement he had several other successful business ventures.
Husband of the late Beatrice Leavitt and the late Gloria Wolf, he is survived by a daughter, Shari Leavitt (Barry Kramer), a son, Douglas (Nina) Leavitt, and three grandchildren, Gabrielle, Lindsay, and Benjamin.
Funeral services and burial are 1 pm Sunday, March 31 at Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey. Shiva will be observed at the home of Shari Leavitt on Sunday at 6 pm.
