Duangduen Schulick, a long-time resident of Kensington, Maryland, passed away on January 26, at the age of 88.

She was a native of Bangkok, Thailand, and was the oldest of eight children of Chamrus and Chamnien Panyarachun.  She is a graduate of Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand and was a Fulbright Scholar and attended graduate school at The Ohio State University and University of Michigan.  She was an educator and homemaker.

She was married to Edward Schulick who passed away in 1984.  She is survived by her two sons, Richard Schulick and Andrew Schulick, her 5 grandchildren, Alexander, Nicole, Victor, Asha, and Max, and five siblings, Thamanoon Panyarachun, Sudchai Panyarachun, Pongtep Panyarachun, Saipin Makaramanee, and Kunna Suwannakindra. Two other siblings have previously passed away, Ekchai Panyarachun and Wiboonrattana Panyarachun.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, February 2 at 11am at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township, NJ.

She will be severely missed by her family and friends.
