Dorothy Meltzer Robbins, 97, of Ewing, passed away at her residence Friday September 6, 2019.

Born in Trenton, she lived in Ewing Township most of her life.

Mrs. Robbins attended the College of New Jersey and was an evaluator for the NJ Department of Education (Scholarship Commission) for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Adath Israel Congregation and taught at its Sunday school.

Mrs. Robbins was a volunteer at Greenwood House and was named Women of the Year in 1997.

Sister of the late Florence Stutzer and Janet Susswein, wife of the late Manning Robbins, she is survived by two sons, Richard and Steven and a daughter-in-law, Rachel Robbins, four grandchildren, Jonathan, Jeremy and Daniel Robbins and Lisa Chapman, and eight  great grandchildren, Seba, Sasha, Gabriel, Jordan, Madison and October Robbins and Broden and George Chapman.

Funeral services are Sunday 12 pm, September 8, 2019 at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ. Burial will follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing.
