Carol Pollack
1927 – 2026

Carol Pollack, beloved mother, grandmother, and wife, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026, at the age of 98.
Carol was born in Yonkers, NY, on August 22, 1927, and graduated from Yonkers HS. Her first job as a sales clerk in the toy department of Saks Fifth Avenue anticipated a later career as a retail sales representative for Mattel and Warner-Lambert, among other companies. Saks Fifth Avenue would also play a role in her courtship with Albert Pollack, who, returning from WWII combat duty in Europe, took a stockroom job while awaiting discharge. Carol first spotted Al in the lunch line; as she tells it, he was in his uniform and cut quite the dashing figure!
Carol and Al made their home in Levittown since 1959, where they were charter members of Temple Shalom and developed a circle of close friends. Carol had a knack for fashion and style. She was a foodie before it was a thing, always curious about the latest restaurant. She truly loved her “Genius” Bucks County, delighting most recently in her visit to the Mercer Museum’s current exhibition about the Doan Gang.
Carol is survived by her children, Beth, Bennett (Erica), and Linda (Billy), and grandchildren Tovah and Synneva. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Pollack.
Funeral services and burial will take place at 12 PM Sunday, May 31, at King David Memorial Park, 3594 Bristol Rd, Bensalem, PA.
