Barbara Silverstein

EAST WINDSOR… Barbara I. Silverstein, 91, passed away Wednesday, February 28, at her residence, Meadow Lakes.

Born in Chicago, she was a former resident of Trenton and Lawrenceville.

Mrs. Silverstein was a graduate of Florida State Teachers College and Rider University earning a MA in guidance. She was a guidance counselor at the NJ School for the Deaf and The John Witherspoon Middle School, in Princeton, for over forty years before retiring.

Mrs. Silverstein enjoyed playing golf at Greenacres County Club, needlepoint and knitting.

Wife of the late Milton Silverstein she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Harrel and Sheralyn Silverstein, and a granddaughter Stella Silverstein.

Funeral services are Friday 11 AM (March 2) at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing. Burial will follow at Brothers of Israel Cemetery, Liberty Street in Trenton.

Following the graveside service, relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a repast luncheon at Cobblestone Creek Country Club (formerly Greenacres Country Club) where Barbara played golf for many years.
