Andrew Frank, of Lawrenceville, passed away on December 10, 2023 at the age of 71.

Andy grew up in the towns of Springfield and Longmeadow, Massachusetts. He later lived in the Bronx, NY, Teaneck, NJ, and Springfield, NJ before moving to Lawrenceville, NJ where he lived with his wife Pam for the past 23 years. He was a graduate of Brandeis University (BA, 1975) and earned a Master of Social Work degree, graduating in 1977.

Andy had a long career in service to the Jewish community. He served as Assistant Executive Director of the Metropolitan New York Coordinating Council on Jewish Poverty from 1989-1998. He then became Director of Planning and Allocations for the United Jewish Communities of MetroWest New Jersey from 1989-1998. He then served as Executive Director of the Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks until his retirement in 2015.

Throughout his career, Andy volunteered on numerous political campaigns.

Since retiring in 2015, Andy served on the Board of Mill Hill Child and Family Development, a volunteer on the Bikur Cholim Caring Connection Committee, and chaired Growth and Redevelopment Committee of Lawrence Township.

An avid life long reader, he was a lover of morning coffee, good conversation, rock and roll music, and loved the beach.

Andy had a lifelong commitment to service, and was an engaged listener. Although sometimes a man of few words, he always had the right ones to say. He was kind and generous with his patience.

He is survived by his loving wife Pamela Frank, his children: Eva, Max, Judah and Josh (Renae) Frank, his grandchildren: Ethan and Dylan, his brothers: Dan Frank (Robyn Forsyth) and Don Frank (Ronnie Rom), and his sister Barbara (Craig) Michaelsen.

Funeral services are 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 12, at Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ.
