Roberta Epstein, 74, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 7, 2020.
She was born in Brooklyn, New York to Leo Horowitz and Edythe Rausch Horowitz. She was a New York City school teacher for 30 years and most of those years were spent at Richmond Hill High School in the English Department.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael Epstein, her younger sister, Cynthia Vandenberg, her two children, Stephen Epstein and Caryn Hirsch, and her four grandchildren, Leah, Kyle, Mathew, and Lucas.
Funeral services and burial are Thursday, January 9, 2020 at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon, NY. The period of mourning will take place at her home in Pennington, New Jersey.
