Dear Jeffrey and family,
I am reading this from Israel. My deepest condolences. Jan was a mentor, a friend and a treasured colleague. May her memory be for a
Blessing.
Love Marcie
Jeff and family,
I first met Jan & the Picker family many years ago when my sister Lisa married Jon.
Everyone was so welcoming and super nice. Kristy & I share our deepest thoughts & condolences to the Picker family.
Jan’s sister, Ronnie, is my neighbor and she spoke so often and so lovingly of Jan and of how very close they were. We send our deepest condolences to Jan’s family. May her memory be a blessing.
Jan Picker was a lady with many gifts, among them a quick wit and a mischievous sense of humor. For some time, she and I were followers of opposing political philosophies. I will always cherish the memories of the political practical jokes we played on each other during those years. I recall how delighted she was to learn that I had finally come to my senses, as she put it. May she spend eternity in peace, remembered with love and affection by all whose lives were fortunate to have been touched by hers.
Jeff,
I am so very sad to hear about Jan. She was so much a part of my early married life as it was impacted by Hadassah. She was my mentor and my friend, always positive and always available. Her visits to our home were filled with laughter and love.
Capable and caring, never wavering in her support of Israel.
I know she will be missed terribly. May her name forever be a blessing.
