Yvonne Bonnie Stroman
1944 – 2026

Yvonne Bonnie Stroman passed away on October 2, 2026 at her home in Ewing, NJ.
Daughter of Charles Noble Stroman and Bertha Stroman sister of Audrye Ingram Gary Stroman, Vincent Stroman Eddie Stroman, Norris Stroman, Sharon Yvette Stroman, a brother-in-law Edward Ingram and two sisters-in-laws Gladys Stroman and Dorothy Ann Whetstone. Bonnie had family throughout New Jersey, first cousins Rudolph Sanders Janet Melvin Sybilla Green Eric Green Damon Green and Joanne Green -Kennedy and Tori N. Monard, a nephew, Rodney Stroman Keith Ingram, Omar Stroman a niece Kartika Rodriguez, Sonya Stroman- Strong, Saleemha Stroman-Williams a great nephew, Jordan Rodriguez, a great nephew Jadon Stroman-Williams, a great niece, Monet Stroman and Christina Strong Pille, a great nephew Jaden Ingram Christian Ingram and a great niece Ashley Ingram that she adored like a daughter.
Bonnie served honorably in the army for over 20 years where she served all over the world and lived in Germany for a period of time, as well as the Netherlands, South Korea and South Carolina.
Bonnie was stationed in Fort Monmouth, New Jersey where she bought a beautiful townhome in Freehold New Jersey and lived there for 17 years. She earned a bachelor’s degree and worked for a law firm in Hamilton, New Jersey as a paralegal.
Bonnie had a love for nature. She adored trees and had a great sense of humor and a spirit that was full of love. She lived with her younger sister, Sharon Yvette STROMAN, who cared for her and her niece Sonya Stroman-Strong, who would cook for her and sing Stevie Wonder songs in the early mornings. She loved animals and had a beautiful cat named Tabitha, and at the end of her life, a gray and black tabby that she named Sydney.
Bonnie will always be in our hearts. When we all look at beautiful trees, we will know that Aunt Bonnie is with us admiring the beauty that surrounds us.
Funeral services with military honors were held on October 7, 2026 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA. Inurnment was at the columbarium at the cemetery.
