George Csizmadia
1950-2026

George Csizmadia, 1950-2026, of Hamilton NJ, passed away on May 4th, 2026 at the age of 75. George was born on July 24, 1950 in Hamburg, Germany to Julius and Ursula Csizmadia. He came to the United States at the age of one and attended Hamilton Township schools.
George enlisted in the military and served with 101st Airborne in Vietnam where he was a mechanic. He was also stationed in Germany for a time where he met his wife Ilona. After completing his time in the military, he worked hanging sheetrock in several locations in Mercer County and surrounding areas where his nickname “Crazy Man” was coined. George was a long-time friend and employee of the Mancuso family of Princeton, NJ where he did everything from landscaping to caring for Brienna, Matt and Aaron. George was a grounds keeper for Our Lady of Lordes as well as St. Vladimir Orthodox church for many years.
George loved to ride his Harley Davidson Motorcycles anywhere that he could for as long as he could. Later in life he turned to a convertible for the feeling of wind in his hair. You could always find him tinkering in his shed, building or fixing something, and recording oldies for family and friends.
George really loved those close to him and tried to make sure that they knew it. He wasn’t a perfect man, but he did what he could to put a smile on everyone’s face. He was compassionate and kind and did everything he could to help in any way that he could.
George is predeceased by his Mother Ursula, Father Julius and grandson Malachi. George is survived by his wife of 55 years Ilona, his sons Mark and Michael (Russo); grandchildren Devin (Cloe), Madison (Kevin), Cearious, Chardia, Leo, Tina, Wesley, and Mark; great grandchildren George, Joan, Camilla, and Natalie; his brother David (Linda) Csizmadia, his sister Monica (Keith) Becker; several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and many family and friends.
