Albert “Al” Vincent Orlandi III
1961 – 2026
Albert Vincent Orlandi III, 65, lovingly known as “Al,” passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026.
Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, he graduated from McCorristin Catholic High School before earning a Bachelor of Science degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Al began his professional career after obtaining his X-ray license in 1981, launching a lifelong dedication to the field. He later shared his knowledge as an instructor at Mercer County Community College. In the 1990s, he joined the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, where he served as a Radiation Physicist, executing his expertise with professionalism and commitment.
Above all else, Al’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was his family. He found deep happiness in watching it grow—from his daughters to his beloved grandsons—and cherished every moment spent with them. He enjoyed music, movies, fishing, camping, the Philadelphia Phillies, Minnesota Vikings, Rutgers Football and spending time with family and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents Albert and Matilda ( Loretucci) Orlandi.
Al is survived by his brother and sister in law Robert Orlandi and Deb DuBois, his sister Elizabeth Orlandi along with his two daughters, Kristen Orlandi and Heather (Orlandi) Kintzel; his son-in-law, Drew Kintzel; and his two grandsons, Tyler and Evan Kintzel, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is further survived by his former wife Cindy (Yvonne Feight), along with nieces, “Adopted” daughters, and many family and friends. His dogs, Gunner and Lola, spent countless hours by his side.
The family wishes to extend their deepest and sincere gratitude to the many healthcare providers that assisted in Al’s care throughout the years.
The visitation is Monday, April 27 from 10 am – 11 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11 am, at St. James Church, 115 E Delaware Avenue, Pennington, NJ. Interment was private.
