1991 – 2023
Patrick Christopher McLaren, Jr., of Ewing Township, passed away on November 5, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Hamilton, at the age of 32.
He was born on September 26, 1991 at Holy Name Medical Center in Teaneck, NJ. He was a graduate of Hawthorne High School and was studying at Full Sail University, pursuing a degree in graphic design. He would have graduated and earned his bachelor’s degree this month. He resided in Ewing Township with his family for the past two years.
Patrick loved photography and sports – especially football (soccer). He also enjoyed design, gaming, technology, and the beauty he found in nature.
Patrick was predeceased by his grandfathers and grandmother, and brother Ricardo Thomas.
He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Tracey; his beautiful daughter, Aviela; father, Patrick; mother, Rosemarie; grandmother, May Taylor; grandfather-in-law, Charles Taylor; father-in-law, Calvin McKenzie; mother-in-law, Lois McKenzie; brothers, Jermaine Smith, Jesse Jackson, Fitzpatrick, Pavonne; sisters, Sherika Vernon, Patrique; brothers-in-law, Richard McKenzie, Andrew McKenzie, Kevin McKenzie; sisters-in-law, Roberta Smith, Kerian Samuels; uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are Saturday, November 11 at 11:00 am at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ. Visitation is from 10:00am – 11:00am on the day of the service. Burial will follow in Ewing Cemetery.

As a mother who just lost her son in September to pneumonia I can understand the pain of your loss. It is very difficult when someone so young with so much life yet to live is taken from us
