LAWRENCEVILLE… William Felder, 74, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2017 

Born in Greensburg, PA, he was a resident of Lawrenceville for most of his life. Bill earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and a PhD in physical chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He worked as a research chemist in the Princeton area for 45 years. He was active with the Lawrence Hamnett soccer league, and was an adjunct professor at Mercer County Community College, as well as a volunteer math tutor at the Princeton YMCA’s English as a Second Language program.

Bill enjoyed photography, playing tennis, traveling with his wife, Jane, and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Felder, two sons and daughters-in-law, Alan and Mara Felder, and Michael Felder and Karon Sharma, two brothers, Joseph Felder and Louis Felder, a mother-in-law, Ruth Mendelson, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Paul and Debbie Mendelson, and four grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, Simi and Sohana.

Funeral services will be 1 PM on Wednesday (June 14) at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Myelodysplastic Syndromes Foundation (MDS Foundation) mds-foundation.org
