EWING… Dr. Gnanarajah Thambo, of Ewing, NJ passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on February 11^th, 2018 . He was born January 29^th, 1956 in Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He was a humble, intelligent, and an extremely loving husband, father, and brother.

He was a man that truly valued education, completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Jaffna (BS, Chemistry Special), MS at Bowling Green State University, and Ph.D in polymer Chemistry at the University of Minnesota. He carried out his post doctoral research at Lehigh University. After several years he channeled his interest from chemistry to pursue a career in computer science and systems engineering, before ultimately ending his career in pharmaceuticals.

Outside of his studies and professional work he enjoyed movies, Tamil music, and reading.

He is survived by his wife Lalini, son Sutharson (Sean), daughter Sumithra; and daughter Nithya and her husband Dylan.

A visitation will be held on Sunday February 18^th, 2018 at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel from 5PM to 7PM.
