Michael Joseph Green
1944 – 2025
Michael Joseph Green, of East Windsor, NJ, passed away on February 6th at the age of 80.
Born in Newark, Michael attended Fairleigh Dickinson University and enjoyed many different career paths stemming from his love of engineering and technology.
Michael was an avid outdoorsman as well as a nature and sports photographer. He was equally at home waiting for eagle chicks to emerge from their nest as he was beside thundering hooves at a polo match. Capturing the perfect moment brought him tremendous joy. He especially enjoyed meeting fellow nature enthusiasts and teaching them more about photography.
He is survived by his brother, Barry Greenberger, niece and nephew Tracy and Benjamin Schwartz, and grand niece and nephew Delilah and Mason Schwartz.
Funeral services and burial are 1:00 pm on Tuesday, February 11th at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ. Memorial contributions are respectfully requested to New Jersey Audobon.
Funeral arrangements are by Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel. For condolences: OrlandsMemorialChapel.com/Michael-Green
Michael was a dear friend of mine – I took the picture shown here when he was doing one of his favorite things – cooking in the woods on a camping trip. We had many journeys together including car races, golf trips, and visiting with me at my ski and shore rentals. We visited each other frequently and I enjoyed his home-cooked meals. I introduced him to some of my other friends and they all enjoyed his company. He will be sorely missed – May His Memory be Eternal!
Very nice Jack. A Great picture just as I know you were a Great friend. Your many camping stories with Mike I always enjoyed hearing. RIP Mike
