TRENTON… Velma Totten,79, passed away March 16, 2017 at her residence.
Born in Marion, South Carolina, she was a resident of Trenton most of her life.
She attended Trenton public schools and was a Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton before retiring.
Mrs. Totten loved to read, play board games and had a smile that would light up any room. The greatest joy in her life was her family and close relationship with her sister and best friend Pinkie.
Daughter of the late Edward and Eva (Williamson) Washington, she was the wife of the late Harold Taylor and was blessed with two children Darryl( Jennifer) Taylor and Patrice Taylor (deceased). A second union to Douglas Glenn Sr. multiplied her blessings with the birth of a son Douglas Glenn Jr. She is also survived by a sister Pinkie Ruth Washington, grandchildren Chardae and Chanelle, a great grandchild and several nieces, nephews ,beloved relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to funeral services and burial Friday 1PM (March 24) at Ewing Cemetery,78 Scotch Road, Ewing Township.
