SOUTH ORANGE, NJ… Seth M. Chilton, 58, passed away Tuesday October 8, 2019 at his residence.
Born in Trenton, he was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design and worked as an industrial designer.
Son of the late Dr. Neal and Naomi Chilton he is survived by his wife Robin Chilton, three sons Noah, Adam and Elijah Chilton, a brother Jonathan (Ellen) Chilton, three sisters Peninah (Albert) Berdugo, Miriam Chilton (Joel Dorow) and Abigail Chilton (Albert Coleman) . He is also survived by his aunt Ruth Sugerman and several sisters and brothers-in-law, loving nieces and nephews.
Seth crafted the door handles for his childhood synagogue, Adath Israel of Lawrenceville, NJ where they adorn the entrance to this day.-one of many examples of Seth’s creativity and kindness..
Funeral services are Friday 11 am, October 11 at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel,1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township. Burial will follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park, Ewing.
I am heart broken. I sat for Seth and Marian when they were in their teens. I have been trying to locate them but sadly, too late .
I loved you like a son and will cherish my memories of you.
