WEST WINDSOR… Ruth Arias, 91, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 23rd, 2018, at Princeton Care nursing home in Princeton.
Born in Berlin, Germany and raised in Manchester, England, Ruth came to America with her father, Fajvel Mieschonz, and her sister, Rose and brother, David, where they started a new life in Brooklyn, New York. She married Larry Arias, and successfully raised three children. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She held several jobs in the retail industry and later as a corporate librarian for a Wall Street brokerage firm. She enjoyed reading, knitting, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Larry, sister, Rose Richard and brother-in-law, Gunther (Jerry) Richard.
Ruth is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Martin and Tobi Arias; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jeffrey Weinman; son and daughter-in-law Aron Arias and Caryn Berla-Arias; brother and sister-in-law, David and Birgit Mieschonz; grand-children: Danielle, Nicole, Sabrina, Rebecca, Benjamin and Alex Arias, Kevin and Jodi Weinman and Steven Weinman; nephew, Lawrence Richard, and nieces, Sandy Richard, and Maria Balle-Chambers.
Funeral and services and burial are 11:30 am Thursday, Oct. 25, at Beth-El Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus, NJ, and the family will be receiving guests at the home of Martin and Tobi Arias, at 20 Indian Run Road, West Windsor, NJ 08550 on Thursday from 4pm-8pm, and on Friday from 12pm-5pm.
