An amazing friend, wonderful mentor, and a phenomenal spiritual leader with a heart of gold. He was the heart and soul of Adath Israel for many years. It was a privilege to work with him and know him. He Bat Mitzvahed my three daughters and was an integral part of my family’s Jewish life for many years. Our hearts and prayers are with Elayne, Sam and Miriam.

Rabbi Grossman was a gem. He would come to my events at Congregation Beth Chaim and give talks about Jews in Hollywood and Literature. He made it fun.
He and his congregation joined BC on a trip to Israel 10 years ago. He also gave talks at Meadow Lakes, where I live now. We all looked forward to his stories and comments.
I hope his memory will be a comfort to everyone who lived him.

Rabbi Grossman officiated at my daughter Anna’s baby naming and my younger son Ben’s bris which we had in the sanctuary at the Greenwood House so my father could be there. I will always remember with fondness his love of people and of Judaism. He wore a natural smile on his face and was the consummate extrovert who drew energy from conversing with… everyone! His involvement in our family’s life cycle events will always be a fond and deeply meaningful memory. Rest In Peace Reb Grossman. Condolences to Elaine and his dear children.

So sorry for your loss. He was a great rabbi and was there for the naming of my kids, their bar and bat mitzvahs, and early Hebrew entertainment
