100% of funds received for pre-planned funerals are deposited in the purchaser’s name in the New Jersey Prepaid Funeral Trust Fund, or CHOICES. This fund provides excellent consumer protections and flexibility. Below are links to relevant information on the fund.

It is important to understand a few things about pre-arranging a funeral, whether for yourself or a loved one:
- Right of disposition
- The arrangements are not set in stone. Although the funds trusted will be for the services and items selected, they can always be changed at a later time if it is the wish of those controlling the funeral.
- The state of New Jersey has strong consumer protections. With the exclusion of SSI/Medicaid funerals, the funds placed into CHOICES are 100% revocable including accrued interest.
