LAWRENCEVILLE… Paul B. Lazovick, 83, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He has been a resident of Lawrenceville, NJ for over 50 years.
He was a member of Adath Israel Congregation, a member of the IEEE, belonged to the 55 Plus Men’s Club, as well as contributing to various charities which were important to him.
In 1953 while a counselor in a summer camp in Vermont, he met Ilse, who became the love of his life. This summer romance led to a 61-year marriage.
Paul graduated from Cooper Union in New York as an electrical engineer. He later worked as a securities analyst on Wall Street followed by a VP position in investor relations.
He enjoyed travel with Ilse and special family vacations. He also loved tennis, reading and never turned down a good Sci-Fi movie.
Paul is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ilse, a son Richard Lazovick, two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and Jeff Bond and Cindy and Joseph Borrelli, as well as four grandchildren, Corey, Jessica, Joshua and Jacob.
Paul’s kindness, caring and nurturing nature and love will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
Funeral services are Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10am at Adath Israel Congregation, 1958 Lawrenceville Rd., Lawrenceville, NJ. Burial will follow at New Montefiore Cemetery, West Babylon, NY. The period of mourning will be observed Wednesday, January 9, 2019 after the burial at the Lazovick-Borrelli residence in Island Park, NY and at the house of Ilse Lazovick on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 3-5pm and 7-9pm with a minyan at 7pm. If so inclined, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to the National Kidney Foundation or Greenwood House in Ewing, NJ
