Murray Fineman, 76, of Lawrenceville, passed away Monday, July 8, 2019.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a graduate of Rutgers University – Camden, where he met his wife, Roberta. The couple moved to Morrisville, PA, and later Yardville, NJ before finally settling in Lawrenceville where they resided the past 27 years.
Murray was a chemist at the State of New Jersey Department of Health for over 35 years before retiring. He was an active member of Congregation Beth Chaim, enjoyed photography and caring for his koi pond – but most of all he loved playing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Roberta Fineman, a daughter and son-in-law Edythe and David Maier, a daughter Jenica Fineman, a brother Milton Fineman, and three grandchildren Emily, Lindsey and Michelle Maier, as well as many other loved ones.
Funeral services are Wednesday, July 10, at 1 pm at Congregation Beth Chaim, 329 Village Road East, Princeton Junction, NJ. Burial will follow at Roosevelt Memorial Park, Trevose, PA. Shiva will be observed at the home of Edythe and David Maier.
Memorial contributions may be made to March of Dimes, or to the American Diabetes Association.
