Leon Rosenberg

EWING… Leon Rosenberg, 93, died Friday March 3, 2017.

Born in Trenton, Mr. Rosenberg was a resident of Morrisville, PA for 60 years. He was the proprietor of Mamie’s Market on Perry Street in Trenton until 1972, and then operated Trenton Glassery until age 86.

A veteran of the Army Air-Corps during World War II, serving in the Pacific, he was awarded the American Service Medal, Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, as well as a Good Conduct Medal and World War II Victory Medal. Mr. Rosenberg was a past member of Greenacres Country Club and Adath Israel Congregation.

Husband of the late Phyllis A. Rosenberg, he is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Joel and Rosemarie Rosenberg of Morrisville, PA, Seth and Linda Rosenberg of Broomall, PA, a daughter, Alyssa Dowd of Florida, eight grandchildren, Jarad, Rachel, Jamie, Jake, Jason, Kevin, Leah, Shayna, and two great grandchildren, Chase and Mackenzie.

Funeral services are Sunday 10AM at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ. Burial will follow at People of Truth Cemetery in Hamilton. Memorial contributions are respectfully requested to Greenwood House or Jewish Federation of Princeton Mercer Bucks.
