Gail Rabinowitz
1941 – 2023
Gail Rabinowitz, of Boca Raton, FL passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at the age of 82.
Born in 1941 she grew up on Greenwood Avenue in Trenton, NJ. She was a lifetime resident of the Trenton area, later residing in nearby Yardley. She attended Carroll Robbins Elementary, Junior 2 and Trenton High School. She went on to attend the University of Maryland, where she studied until she met and married her first husband.
She worked for the New Jersey Resources for Special Needs Children as a secretary. She later worked as a sales person at Stacy’s in the Lawrence Shopping Center where she was a fixture for over 10 years.
Gail was an avid card player, both canasta and mahjong. She played not only with her peers but also her parents’ generation. She was an active tennis player and enjoyed golf later in life, until she became ill. She was an amazing dancer who could dance with anyone and even worked as an instructor at Arthur Murray Dance Studios in her youth.
The life of the party, she was vivacious, fun and funny, witty and aware – always meticulously dressed, taking pride in her appearance. She was truly appreciated by her peers and elders alike.
Gail is survived by her husband, Dr. Barry Rabinowitz, her son, Jeffrey Freedman and his former wife, Cindy, her daughter, Nancy Freedman, and her brother and sister-in-law, Dr. James and Susan Byer. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Zoe, Chloe and Beau Freedman.
She was mother-in-law to David and Kathy Rabinowitz, and Rachel and Adam Reiss. She is also survived by their children, Natasha, Jordyn, and Jacob Rabinowitz, and Addison Reiss.
Funeral services are 11:00 AM on Sunday, August 27 at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ. Burial will follow at Fountain Lawn Memorial Park.

We are saddened to hear about Gail’s demise. She was a beautiful woman with a fabulous personality. Gail had such charisma.
