Eric C. Schissel, of Manalapan, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the age of 60.
Eric grew up in Bayside, Queens, NY. He was a graduate of SUNY Oneonta.
Eric worked as a print salesman for Fry Communications.
Known for his great sense of humor, he made everyone laugh with frequent pranks and goofs. He loved his dog, Sandy, who predeceased him and was his constant companion.
Most of all he loved spending time with his family. They were his entire life and were what grounded him and made him happy.
Eric is survived by his wife, Hope Schissel (whom he met when they were both 19 years old) and their two children, Amanda and Jason, his parents Jerry and Renee Schissel, his brothers Kevin (Karen) Schissel and Jeffrey (Katie) Schissel, his mother-in-law Paula Rosenhaus, his sister in law Marla (Jeffrey) Wein, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father-in-law Barry Rosenhaus.
Funeral services and burial are 1:00 pm on Friday, June 11 at Floral Park Cemetery, 104 Deans Rhode Hall Road, Monmouth Junction, NJ. Please arrive at the administration building by 12:45pm.

There are no words to express my deepest sympathies to all of you on the loss of your son, brother , husband and father. I feel from the pics and the posts that he was a great person with a sense of humor. May the memories be a blessing. And my heart goes out to you all
