Enid Perry
1951 – 2022
Enid Perry passed away early Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at her home in Monmouth Junction, NJ. She was 70.
She was an elementary school teacher in the West Windsor – Plainsboro School District for many years. She loved to travel with family and friends, and spend time with her family, especially her four grandchildren whom she loved very much.
Enid was predeceased by her sister Rhona Landau, and her parents Sam and Elsie Landau.
She is survived by her husband Bill Perry, son Adam (Nicole) Perry, daughter Ali Perry (Mike Yohai), sister Doreen Landau (Barry Slavin), and four grandchildren: Hannah Perry, Emily Perry, Ben Perry and Shayna Perry Yohai. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Nancy Levine, brother-in-law Steven Weissman, nieces Dana and Sarah and their families. Enid was grateful for so many friends and neighbors who were generous, thoughtful, and kind throughout her battle.
Funeral Services are 11:00 am on Sunday, February 20 at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ.
Burial will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.

Enid was my son Jake’s kindergarten teacher in 2003-04 and she was an absolute dream. She was also a cherished colleague and such a lovely and caring person. My deepest sympathies to her loved ones.

When you lose someone you love the pain is so great words can’t begin to ease the ache. The love you shared, the memories of fun times together and the passage of time spent with family and friends is the best pain killer.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear, special, beautiful friend, Enid. We offer our sincere condolences to all of you. We have many fond memories of Enid from all the great times that we shared over a 45 year timespan. She will always be in our hearts, but we will miss her deeply.

I have known her since we were in fourth grade and we have shared so many adventures since then. I’ve never known anyone as positive and loving as she was. Her generosity of time and spirit to her family and friends was remarkable.
She had a joie de vivre that will be missed by all that knew her.

I was so sorry to learn of the loss of Enid. I knew her first as a teacher, and then as one of my group exercise students. She was a wonderful person, and I would have loved to have had her as my kindergarten teacher.

Enid was such a caring person with an unbelievable amount of patience. My daughter & 2 of her closest friends met in Enid’s kindergarten class. They and many of the other students in that class had an over abundance of energy. Enid was gentle with both students and parents, discussing events which had occurred. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
“Mrs. Perry” was my daughter Abby’s beloved kindergarten teacher. 20 years later when we met again at the condo, she remembered Abby and they had a lovely brief reunion. Enid is a lost treasure. My sympathies to Bill and the family.

I have wonderful memories of Mrs. Perry from my time as a Wicoff student, a high school student volunteer in her kindergarten class, and a family friend at happy occasions over the years. I was so saddened to learn of her passing. My heartfelt condolences to her family ❤️ May her memory be for a blessing.
So sorry and saddened upon learning of her passing.
She was part of our teenage group that hung out in Arverne, NY in the mid to late sixties or so.
I have very fond memories of those days from that time.
