Elizabeth Raam

Elizabeth (Betty) Raam, 80, of Robbinsville died peacefully on Sunday at Greenwood House in Ewing after a courageous six year battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Trenton, to the late Richard and Alberta Donovan, Betty was a longtime resident of Robbinsville.

She was a caring mother, grandmother, and friend. Betty worked in the medical field all of her life after graduating from Ewing High School. She loved to travel, visiting Israel many times while acting on the Jewish Congress as a member of Congregation Beth Chaim in West Windsor NJ. She also loved animals, especially cats, which led to her becoming a Champion Breeder of Ruddy Abyssinians.

Predeceased by her sister, Jacqueline Miller; Betty is survived by her children and their spouses, Kevin and Christine Fitzpatrick, Michael and Tanya Fitzpatrick, Timothy and Victoria Fitzpatrick; her grandchildren, Ryan, McKayla, Michael, Keira, Nicholas, Cooper, Bryce, Gabriela, and Caelyn.

Funeral services will be private. Memorial contributions are requested to be made to cancer research in Betty’s memory, or to a charity of your choosing.

    Dear Fitzpatrick family, I will miss your mother very much. She was a wonderful giving mother. I had the good fortune of knowing her since 1972. I was also fortunate to spend her last week at Greenwood House before she passed. May her memory always be a blessing Dr. Steven M Vbaum
