I started knowing Don when I started my Engineering work in Center City Philadelphia many many years ago. I always was tapping into his vast knowledge and experience in engineering, by consulting about my challenges. His kindness and patience (like a brother) to help had no match. Socially, also he was a friend. In past few years I kept running to him in Home Depot or Lowes!!?? I am going to miss him a lot!

Don was many things to those of us who were fortunate enough to work with him. He was a mentor, a confidant, a leader, a technical expert, and most of all he was a friend. His absence at Jacobs after he retired was felt but we knew he would be living his life to the fullest doing the things he loved. May his family find peace and comfort knowing he had such a great impact on all of us who knew him. Till we meet again.

Don was a patient and highly skilled engineer. Don was my lead on one of the first projects I was assigned to at Jacobs. I had so much to learn about the technology and the way projects were done. Don gave me room to grow and learn and never made me feel that I was not up to the task. I am so grateful to have had worked for Don and with him. Don was a good man. My thoughts and prayers are with Don’s family at this difficult time.
