Dana Lor Armitage, 58, of Levittown, PA, passed away August 6, 2022 at her residence.
Dana was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA before moving to East Windsor, New Jersey with her family.
She graduated high school and attended Capital Health School of Nursing, graduating with a diploma and an associate’s degree from Mercer County Community College.
She married David Armitage in 1983. They welcomed 3 beautiful daughters, Alicia in 1986, Cathy in 1987, and Rachael in 1995.
Dana devoted her life to her daughters and career. She experienced many areas of nursing before finding her true passion as a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse.
Following her divorce she moved to Bordentown, NJ and finally settled in Levittown, PA with her daughter Rachael.
Dana’s greatest loves in life were her daughters, grandchildren and dogs.
Dana was an amazing mother, grandmother, aunt, daughter, friend and more. She loved with her whole heart. She was passionate, loving, devoted, generous, colorful and so full of life. Despite many medical set backs, she never gave up on living her best life.
She is predeceased by her father, Lee Dorsey. She is survived by her mother, Shirley Dorsey, sister Debra, brother David, three daughters and their significant others Alicia and Andrew, Cathy and Brian, and Rachael and John, three beautiful grandchildren Connor, Sean, and Cianna and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday (August 11) 10am -12pm. Services are at 11am. Interment will be private.

Such a sweet and precious soul. I love it that no matter how long you got to visit with her she always made you feel like family …. Welcoming and caring. Miss you Dana and I know both Your heavenly father as well as your earthly father welcomed you home with open arms🥰💕
I’m so sorry to of Dana’s passing, we were great friends and was even in her wedding party along with being on East Windsor dust 1 rescue squad for many years together. Prayers for her family.
