Annette Macaluso

Annette Virginia Macaluso of Naples, Florida passed away on October 21, 2025 at the age of 70.

Annette grew up in Lenox, Massachusetts before moving to Florida to become a resident for more than 40 years. She was single-minded in her pursuits as a mother and caregiver and spared no time or effort in making sure her family was loved and cared for. In addition, she spent many years as a banker and bookkeeper.

Her values of strength, honesty, and dedication were paramount to her, and she lived and died by them. She decided at the end of her life to stop her fight against cancer to forgo her pain and suffering—a true act of bravery and symbol of her determined commitment to be true to herself to the end.

Annette is survived by her daughter, Annette G. Macaluso and her wife, Emily Macaluso, her two grandchildren, Ayelet and Lior, her sister Maryann Rogers, and her beloved dog, Buddy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Macaluso.

There was never a day that went by that Annette did not smile kindly on the world and make it a better place. She will be deeply missed.

Memorial contributions are respectfully requested to be made in the form of donations to the Patty Baker Humane Society of Naples, Florida.
