Dr. Allan G. Weisberg died peacefully on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at the age of 84.
Born in Trenton, he was an area resident most of his life. After college at Rutgers and NYU Dental School, he began his career practicing dentistry in the US Army where he attained the rank of Captain. He returned to Trenton in 1965 to open his own dental practice. After retiring from practice, he became a professor of dentistry at Temple University until retiring at age 80.
Allan was a generous man devoted to family and community. He volunteered at a dental clinic at Kibbutz Afikim, treating both Israelis and Palestinians. He supported Israel Bonds and Greenwood House. He was a long-time member of Adath Israel Congregation.
His generosity was evident in the way he ran his dental practice where no one was turned away for lack of funds. His greatest generosity was saved for his family. He surrounded himself with his children and grandchildren and his greatest joy was having everyone down at the shore at his beach house.
Allan is survived by his four children, Stefani Declercq, Andrew Weisberg, Melissa Nalli, and Ilan Weisberg, as well as six grandchildren, Emily and Hannah Declercq, Samuel and Sara Nalli, and Ellie and David Weisberg-Ledesma.
Funeral services are 12:30pm on Friday, May 14 at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing, NJ. Face masks and social distancing are required. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton Township, NJ.
Shiva will be observed on May 14, 15 and 16 from 6 – 9 pm at the home of Stefani Declercq.
The family respectfully requests memorial contributions be provided to the Jewish National Fund specifically to plant trees in Israel.
Services are in-person only. The funeral service will not be available to livestream.
Dear Weisberg and extended Weisberg family,
My mom saw your dad’s obituary and sent it around to us Moses kids. We were saddened to hear of your dad’s passing. I remember him as a deeply kind and gentle man and can still picture him clearly, though of course haven’t seen him since I was a young teen. Our deepest condolences go out to all of you.

Dr. Wiesberg was a customer of my at the old Ewing Bank. I always enjoyed the talks we shared together. He was a real gentleman and respected by many. My prayers go out to the family during this time of mourning.

Dear Stephanie, Andrew, Melissa and Ilan,
Molly and I send our deepest sympathies to you and your families. We have many found memories of all of you and Allan. I often tell the stories of spending some Saturdays at your home and taking Ilan to the pool (my mom was crazy about you all) and I have some great pictures from our visits together. Be well,
Larry and Molly
