NEWTOWN, PA… Blanche Sussman, 96, died Monday, October 22, 2018.
Born in Trenton, NJ, Blanche was a resident of Levittown, PA before moving to Newtown. Mrs. Sussman worked alongside her husband, Jules Sussman, at Lobel’s Youth Center in Levittown. She was a founding member of Congregation Beth El.
Wife of the late Jules Sussman, sister of the late Myron Goldman and Rena Stern, Blanche is survived by a sister, Phyllis Goldman, and her children Dr. Steven and Dr. Cindy Sussman of Yardley, PA, Myron and Jill Sussman of Bethel Park, PA, and Robin and Michael McCulloch of Bledington, England. Blanche had six grandchildren, Vanessa, Emily, Lachelle, Evelyn, Laura and Brian, and five great grandchildren, Jake, Sophie, Lucas, Rachel and Ruby.
Funeral services are Tuesday, October 23 at 12 noon at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township, NJ. Burial will follow at King David Memorial Park in Bensalem, PA.
The period of mourning will be observed at the Sussman residence, Yardley, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
