LAWRENCEVILLE… Tharyle J. Prather, 69, passed away Monday, August 13, 2018.
Born in Wabash, Indiana, he was a resident of Lawrenceville the past thirty-five years.
Mr. Prather was a graduate of Manchester College and Rutgers University where he earned a Master’s Degree in Fine Art. He worked at Rutgers University as Director for the programs of Theatre and Design, and for over 35 years at Rider University as Director of Theatre Facilities, Faculty and Technical Director.
Son of the late Cedric Prather, he is survived by his wife Miriam Mills, a son and daughter-in-law Danny and Lydia Prather, his mother Stephana Prather, two brothers Daryle and Saryle Prather, and a sister Sharyle Stonecipher.
Funeral services are Thursday 11am, August 16, at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Road, Ewing Township. Burial will follow at Ewing Cemetery. The period of mourning will be observed Thursday 7-9PM and Friday 5-7PM at the Prather residence.
