PLAINSBORO… June Slavin, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she graduated from Tilden High School and attended Brooklyn College. She was a resident of Princeton Windrows, Plainsboro, NJ since August, 2017. Previously she resided in Groton, MA, Bayside, Queens, Wayne, NJ, Miami Lakes and Aventura, FL.
June was a “professional volunteer.” She was a member of Jewish Federation and a long-time volunteer at Jewish Community Services of South Florida. She was a member of Temple Sinai of North Dade in Miami, FL, and more recently, of The Jewish Center in Princeton, NJ.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard Slavin, two daughters and sons-in-law, Mindy and Corey Langer, and Susan Slavin Greenberg and Mark Greenberg, two brothers, Michael Lippman and Yale Richard Lippman, two grandchildren, Micah Langer and Adina Langer (Matthew DeAngelis), and two great-grandchildren, Leo and Ilana DeAngelis.
Funeral services are Friday 11 AM, May 18, at The Jewish Center, 435 Nassau Street, Princeton. Burial will follow at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus.
