Robert Francis “Bob” Ruszczyk
1949 – 2025
Robert Francis “Bob” Ruszczyk passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025, just two days shy of his 76th birthday. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was lovingly raised by his late father, Bruno Ruszczyk, and his late grandmother, Rose Ruszczyk.
At 20 years old, Bob was drafted into the U.S. Army and honorably served in Vietnam. Following his discharge, he worked in various roles before building a dedicated career as a mail handler with the United States Post Office, where he operated a forklift for more than 30 years.
Bob was predeceased by his beloved wife, Nancy (Fabian) Ruszczyk; his mother-in-law, D. Janice Fabian; dear family friend Karen Steiner; and his cherished pet, Nibbles.
He is survived by his three children: Robert Ruszczyk and his wife, Cynthia; Matthew Ruszczyk and his partner, Ariana Pulhac; and Allison Ruszczyk and her fiancé, John Newman. He is also survived by Nancy’s sister, Holly Fabian, and his lifelong friend, Sandy Mershon.
A devoted sports fan, Bob rarely missed a Phillies or Eagles game. He also treasured his Sunday drives to Mass, listening to “Breakfast with the Beatles” while his children playfully competed for the two backward-facing seats in his station wagon.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, November 21, from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at Orland’s Ewing Memorial Chapel, 1534 Pennington Rd., Ewing Township. A short funeral service will take place at 12:00 P.M. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to EASEL Animal Rescue League, 4 Jake Garzio Dr., Ewing, NJ.
