My condolences to the Shapiro family on the passing of Helene who have been family friends since the 1980’s. She had a outgoing personality, warm smile and was a good cook.
Her memory and spirit will always be with us.
Luckily, Lloyd and I have been very cherished friends of Helene and Paul Shapiro since 1973. Helene leaves behind a long legacy of wonderful moments and memories she created for us and many of her other fans, friends and family members; all of whom also loved her dearly. I am privileged to have known Helene since her days of living in Westport, CT. She was a fellow Chicagoan and I felt at home with Helene the moment I met her . We spent many Jewish holidays with Helene and her family and had many happy times together. She will always be a sweet memory for me.
