My cousin Bernie, we called him Bunny, was the son of my mothers oldest sister the pianist Rose HAMELSKY and her husband business man Jack Anklowitz. Bunny aka Bernie always had a comedic sense of humor and was known for his one liners. RIP
Being the youngest cousin i didn’t come to know Bernie also known as Bunny until I was in my early 40’s and not umtil his mother my aunt Rose started staying with me for the summers from 1997 to 2004. I came to know a man who loved to make people laugh, and he loved having visitors. He often told me stories about my grandfather and grandmother that made it like i was alive during World War II and it made me have a view of my grandparents I would’ve never known without getting to know, Bunny, and his recollection of the past. I believe He thoroughly enjoyed getting to know me and my daughter as we did him. I wish I knew him the way I knew him right before he passed. I pray that he has peace n Heaven and the love he so longed forand an very easy rest.
