Caroline Bondi , 91, of Ewing Township, passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at her home.
Born in Jamestown, NY, she resided in Ewing most of her life. She was the proprietor of Al’s Airport Inn in Ewing Township for over 60 years.
Caroline was a member of West Trenton Presbyterian Church and was a member of the West Trenton Volunteer Fire Company Women’s Auxiliary. She loved Turner Classic Movies and murder mysteries, playing games, bowling and Pepe’ Le Pew. She was caring, warm and giving, and was welcoming of everyone to her home. She was a great cook and was especially known for her incredible pies. Most of all she was devoted to her family.
Caroline was wife of the late Joseph M. Bondi and mother of the late Anthony D. Bondi. She is survived by two sons and a daughter in law, Mitchell C. Bondi of Ewing Township, Joseph A. and Donna Bondi of Union Beach, a daughter, Faith Ann Singh of Ewing Township, four grandchildren, Kathi Zarate and husband Everardo, Joseph Bondi Jr. and wife Carrie Ann, Jennifer C. Mahan and husband Anthony, Anthony M. Bondi and wife Charlotte, and seven great-grandchildren, Abigail, Sydney, Erika, Anthony, Wyatt, Ryder and Olivia.
Funeral services are 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 21 at West Trenton Presbyterian Church, 490 Grand Avenue, Ewing, NJ. Visitation will be on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s cemetery in Hamilton, NJ. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are respectfully requested to West Trenton Presbyterian Church or The American Heart Association.
