Henry Robert Kittle, Jr.

1959 – 2022


Henry Robert Kittle, Jr. of Belmar, NJ passed away on June 21, 2022 at the age of 62.

Henry was born on July 22nd, 1959 to Henry Robert Kittle Sr. and Vera Maude Kittle (née Miller) in Glen Ridge, NJ. He grew up in Belleville, NJ and moved to Freehold, NJ at a young age. Henry graduated from Freehold Boro High School in 1977. 

Henry raised his children in Jackson, NJ and spent his remaining years in Belmar, NJ. He owned his own fireplace company called Colts Neck Designs, LLC where he built custom wall units, fireplaces, decks, and home additions. 

He enjoyed all things sports, especially the Giants. At a younger age he enjoyed going to Alexandria Bay with his siblings and parents, and as a young adult his most memorable trip was to Hawaii with friends. In his later years he enjoyed going to Monmouth Racetrack for Father’s Day, Dover racetrack with his sons, grilling in his backyard, watching fireworks, and eating seafood at Belmar & Point Pleasant restaurants. 

Henry is survived by his mother Vera, former spouse Maryann, his children David (wife Jennifer), Samantha (husband Travis), and Matthew, and sister Laura. He also leaves behind three grandchildren; Declan, Madeline, and Mackenzie. 

Henry is predeceased by his father Henry Robert Kittle, Sr. and sister Jaynie Kittle-Perry.

    I knew Bob for about 10 years. Anytime I saw him, he always talked highly of his kids. He was proud of them and was always concerned about how they were moving forward in their lives. Rest easy.
