Stewart Daniel Campanaro
July 8, 1930 – June 1, 2020
Stewart departed this life peacefully at the home he built in 1970 in West Trenton, NJ, surrounded by his loving family.
A Trenton area resident all his life, Stewart was an electrical contractor and owner of NJ Electric where he held the oldest active electrical license in the state of NJ.
Stewart was preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Marguerite, his two brothers Vincent and Anthony and his two nephews, Michael and James. He is survived by his four nieces Barbara, Paula, Cindy, and Tammy, one nephew Robert, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Stewart loved nothing more than being at home feeding the deer in his backyard and taking care of his two kitties.
Private graveside services and burial for family and close friends will be held at Highland Cemetery in Hopewell Township.
I would like to offer my condolences to the Campanaro Family and I am sorry I could not be there. Stew always treated me with respect and kindness. Stew was a wealth of wisdom ! His stories from his past would always make you laugh.
Love you Stew!
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the Campanaro family. Stu was always one of the funniest and wisest men that I have met. He will always hold a very dear place in my heart. I love you and miss you, Uncle TuTu!
My condolences to the Campanaro family. I live behind Stewart and enjoyed our talks while he was riding his tractor. A kind soul.
You were my moms uncle, my grandfathers brother, and above all a kind person. I enjoyed meeting you for coffee and visiting you and your cat at home. You will be missed.
Uncle Stu always put a smile on your face. His sense of humor was one of a kind. Although I didn’t get to see him often, I always enjoyed the time spent with him.
I am truly sorry I can not make the services but my thoughts and prayers are with everyone.
