It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Karen Rodney who left the world peacefully on April 1st in the presence of her loving family after a courageous and valiant battle cancer. She was 73 and leaves behind her husband, Burton Rodney, 4 children, David Rotter, Yael Rotter, Avi Rotter, and Sara Rotter, a Brother, Stephen Rubin, as well as 3 step children and 14 grandchildren.
She is remembered as the kindest, most loving, caring and selfless wife, mother and sister as well as a doting grandmother, who shamelessly spoiled her grandchildren. Her sunny, positive and beautiful personality infused all her relationships with a sense of love, caring, and true empathy which was cherished by all. She was beloved and adored by those she touched. There is no way to put into words her lust for life, something that was instantly contagious and felt by all that were in her presence. She will be sorely missed.
